Client Overview
Our client is an American multinational information technology company headquartered in Palo Alto, California, that develops personal computers (PCs), printers, and related supplies, as well as 3D printing services.

The Role
Our client is looking for a candidate with experience in benchmarking, test environments, hands-on tasks, and supporting presales technical queries. The ideal candidate should possess the ambition, skills, and attributes necessary to effectively support the team.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding and experience of PCs, Operating systems, Management of devices and users within compute environment using MS tool sets including MS SCCM/Intune, driver/patch management.
  • Previous experience desirable but not mandatory of PC Mark/Pass Mark/Procyon or other PC benchmarking software (training will be provided).
  • Develop and maintain standardized benchmark test plans for evaluating device performance (CPU, GPU, memory, storage, battery life, thermals, etc.).
  • Set up and configure test environments, including software tools, drivers, firmware, and operating systems.
  • Perform hands-on testing using industry-standard benchmarking tools (e.g., PCMark, 3DMark, PassMark, Geekbench, SPEC, Cinebench).
  • Analyze test data and generate performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Maintain performance databases and automation scripts for repeated test workflows.
  • Stay up to date with emerging hardware trends and benchmarking methodologies.
  • Support the wider Presales organisation with technical queries and customer consultation when required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
