Systems Analyst Integration
Main Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and energetic system analyst to join the IT team. In this role you will translate business needs into well documented requirements for IT system and business process changes. You will work on projects to modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills along with technical acumen. The ability to understand and document complex applications is essential along with the skills needed to evaluate and present options for implementing new capabilities.
You must be able to effectively communicate complex concepts with suppliers, co-workers and management, both verbally and in writing. You must have experience in managing supplier accountability and performance as well as integrating systems which may involve multiple systems and suppliers. You must balance a self-motivated, independent work ethic with the desire to train and assist others. Organisation, prioritisation, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are all crucial.
Previous experience with implementing complex IT applications like Integrating ORMs, SQL Alchemy and Django ORM to create data layers and managing schema evolution through migrations
The role requires a good understanding of IT and business change management processes.
Ideal candidate will have proven experience of delivering multiple web applications including data visualisation and user interactivity. Web sites and social media marketing. The role requires the ability to collaborate with business users and external vendors to design and roll out a modern digital customer experience.
Required Experience and Skills:
A minimum of 3 years professional experience is required.
- Web development using Python (Django, Flask, Tornado etc.) and JavaScript/Typescript (React, Angular, NodeJS) frameworks
- Using SQL and No SQL databases for web applications
- Integrating ORMs like SQL Alchemy and Django ORM to create data layers and managing schema evolution through migrations
- Proven experience of delivering multiple web applications including data visualisation and user interactivity.
- Hosting web applications on Azure using App Service and VMs
- Using Azure services like Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Blob Storage etc.
- Experience working with Azure Function and Logic Apps. Ability to design and implement integration of desperate systems using these components.
- Integrating with Single Sign On solutions like Azure AD and other OAuth providers
- Design of Web APIs using REST and employing Python frameworks like Django-Rest, FastAPI, Flask etc.
- Integrating web applications with multiple backend systems using APIs, messaging, and other integration patterns
- Ability to use CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and Materialise etc. to create web layout
- High level understanding of Machine Learning and ability to effectively work with Data Science and Data Engineering teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with Product Managers and various business partners and to understand and capture their needs.
- Ability to design and deliver Low code / no code solutions to automate manual processes or provide integration layer between legacy systems. Some experience with Power Apps and Power Automate services from Microsoft would be beneficial.
- Work closely with colleagues, developers, external vendors, testers and a variety of end users during prototyping and product development
