We are looking for a dynamic self-starter to work in our Network Team for in Ireland. The role will involve designing solutions for one of Client in Ireland's largest customers. This would require the successful candidate to be capable of learning the customer's environment and network quickly. Being capable of supporting the existing network and being capable of designing new network solutions in their entirety. This would include (but not limited to): Meetings with customers, stakeholders, and management, designing new solutions with the ability to be able to back the choices made in the design stage, create HLD and LLD documentation with detailed and clear written documentation (including Visio diagrams etc.), implementation, testing, handover, and support. The successful candidate would be working as part of a bigger dynamic team who manages this cutting-edge customer from day to day. Some out of hours work is required, as the customer's equipment is located in Data Centers, and the only time change interventions are allowed is out of hours. Should this be required, the successful candidate would not be expected to work normal hours the next day.

Although the successful candidate would be working day-to-day in the customer account team, they would still be a key part of the network team, and reporting into the Head of Networks for Ireland. This is a very supportive team, who shares knowledge and assists each other when needed. An excellent learning and development program is in place to allow the successful candidate to advance their knowledge and further their career in many different areas.

Your Experience:

  • Cisco CCNP/CCIE Routing and Switching qualifications
  • Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE and other Firewall experience required (Cisco ASA, Fortigate, etc.) to Engineering level
  • Excellent knowledge of IP routing protocols such as: mBGP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Static Routing etc.
  • IPSec VPN and Remote Access VPN solutions
  • Data Centre Solutions such as Cisco Nexus Switches, Hyperconverged Technology, IOS-XE and IOS-XR OS

The candidate must have a valid visa to work in Ireland.
