The Role:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join OpenShift AI and drive innovation in hybrid cloud MLOps. Focus on seamless model deployment with Kubeflow, enhancing Model Registry and Serving. Collaborate with open-source communities and cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable solutions integrating partner technologies. Passion for open source required!
What You Will Do:
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and development of the Model Registry project in Kubeflow and OpenShift AI.
- Innovate in the MLOps domain by participating in upstream communities such as Kubeflow, KServe, and ml-metadata.
- Develop new features and solutions for OpenShift AI.
- Implement CI/CD best practices to integrate solutions into OpenShift AI as part of productization efforts.
- Present at OpenShift/Kubernetes and AI/ML-related technology conferences and within the AI/ML communities of practice.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience with Go and/or Python programming languages.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Proficiency in building tools and shell scripting.
- Strong experience with source code management tools, such as Git.
- Solid understanding of systems and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Familiarity with how Open Source and Free Software communities operate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good English proficiency.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with core machine learning algorithms and libraries.
- Knowledge of React or C++.
- Previous experience with Kubeflow.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with the Prometheus monitoring stack.
