As our global footprint continues to spread across the world, the client is looking for a Software Development Team Lead with a focus on overall solution design and delivery of enterprise wide, multi-channel solutions that directly align with the needs of their customers.
What you'll learn & achieve:
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing secure cloud native .Net core applications leveraging Azure by employing techniques such as TDD, BDD, DDD, Pair programming etc and leading a team of developers.
They are an agile team who follow a Kanban/Scrum approach depending upon the needs and adhere to SSDLC and often make use of practices such as threat modelling, PenTest, Bug Bounty etc to improve the security of our applications.
What you can expect in the first 12 months:
*Help to lead the development and testing of a brand-new cloud native platform leveraging Azure services to support our mission by employing techniques such as TDD and Pair programming etc.
*Collaborate with various global teams including Data Science, Architecture & Product to understand, design, validate and coordinate solutions from technical perspective
*Define project requirements by identifying milestones, forming project teams, establishing budget, developing schedules, assigning, prioritising and monitoring work, implementing productivity standards, and resolving operations problems.
*Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
*Improve system performance by investigating problems, developing specifications, identifying trends in technology, and recommending solutions.
*Manage the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and followed.
*Work closely with Microsoft to provide best of breed technology solutions for our customers
*Access to Pluralsight and various other training resources (eg: UL University) to continue your personal development
Requirements-
*You'll already have some great experience leading software projects and development teams delivering high volume and high transaction systems for critical business systems
*You'll have a good grasp of software engineering best practice and familiar with Kanban/Scrum methodologies
*You will have expert knowledge in enterprise application using Microsoft based tools & frameworks such as .NET/Core, C#, ASP MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server
*You will be familiar with platform services available on Azure and skilled working with APIs, Micro services and Service Oriented Architecture,
*Effective verbal and written communication skills and methods; with multiple levels of internal stakeholders
*An active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximise the team's potential
