Senior Telecom Engineer
This position is for 2 days per week based in North Dublin with a utilities company.
Description
- Manage complex architecture for overall company infrastructure in a converged network environment including (WAN/LAN/IPT/WLAN/VC) to support up to 2000 users across 25-30 sites
- Performance of hardware implementation, configuration, tuning and administration for all aspects of IPT (Cisco based Call Manager Application)
- IPT Contingency planning and testing (2/3rd level)
- Hardware/software configuration and management for IPT at 2/3rd level
- Work with telecommunications and network team to Implement, and/or maintain Cisco Unified Communications systems including but not limited to CUCM, UCCX, IM&P, Finesse, Jabber, Expressway
- Management of technical networking for IT projects
- Knowledge and expertise in IPT network monitoring tools
- Knowledge and expertise in Cisco IOS
Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Senior IPT Engineer
- Managed and maintained a large, complex and highly resilient voice Infrastructure
- Experience using ServiceNow
- Demonstrable expert knowledge based on up to date professional qualifications such as current CCNA/CCIE qualified, Cisco related IT networking
