Senior Java Developer


You will be a part of a Java backend development team, working on a leading payments solutions platform based in Dublin.

You will be working witha company who's Digital Engineering practice is responsible for helping our clients leverage next generation software in order to engage customers more directly, easily and precisely by developing production ready apps at record speed.

As part of our Digital cloud native engineering practice, you will lead technology innovation for our clients through robust delivery of world-class solutions. You will build better and deliver better products!

Responsibilities:

  • Code as part of an Agile product-focused software development team
  • Implement and enforce continuous integration and test-driven development practices
  • Develop and test code for services and integration tiers of an application component
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including iteration planning, standups and retrospective
  • Configure, deploy and troubleshoot applications


Experience:

  • Deep understanding of software programming fundamental concepts
  • Codes software components using Java, Spring Framework, relational databases and message queues
  • Develops approaches to testing and writes unit tests using Junit or other test frameworks
  • Creates and maintains CI builds using Jenkins, Concourse or similar tool
  • Has led Agile development teams
  • Nice-to-have. JavaScript, frontend frameworks
  • Nice-to-have. Understanding of micro services architecture concepts and how to implement them
  • Nice-to-have. Has worked with private or public cloud platform such as Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, AWS, GCP or Azure
