My client is a leading electronic manufacturing solutions provider, based here in Dublin. The business itself employs over 150,000 plus people across 80 sites around the world. They're now looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team due to expansion in the wider business.

I am looking for an accountant with at least 6 years post qualification experience, someone with very strong technical skills and also very strong influencing skills. The role involves a lot of daily interaction with many different depts within the company. One of the key functions in this role is to analyse financial information and implement effective department strategies to enhance overall business performance This position reports directly to the Financial Controller.

Personal Skills & Experience:
*Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA/ ACA / CPA)
*Qualified Accountant with at least 6 year plus post qualification experience
*Experience working within a large global organisation or multinational at a senior level would be an advantage.
*Have very strong communications and influencing skills
*People management skills would be an advantage

Job Description:
*Review financial information to assist business profitability and growth
*Provide accurate and timely management reporting to relevant department heads
*Implement, develop and improve existing accounting processes and controls.
*Evaluate, monitor and prepare financial performance through weekly indicators, budgets, quarterly and yearly rolling forecasts and variances.
*Prepare statutory and management accounts
*Manage SOX compliance and local statutory audits
*Evaluate assets, liabilities, and capital, in preparation for the balance sheet, P&L statement, and other relevant reports to summarise present and projected company financial position.
*Prepare journal entries and financial statements for the monthly and year-end closing
*Prepare entries to general ledger accounts and other accounts.
*Documenting business transactions.
*Audits contracts, orders, and claims and prepare relevant documentation
*Prepare reports regarding individual transactions, prior to settlement
