We are currently looking for a highly customer-focused and enthusiastic Technical Team Lead, to work within Digital Site Services.
Digital Site Services is the term given to the on-site engineers who handle Level 2 tickets for desktop and infrastructure support.
You would be responsible for a small team of engineers based in Grangecastle, Newbridge, and Dublin City Centre.
The role is primarily based within Newbridge, with frequent travel to Grangecastle and Dublin City Centre and some occasional travel to other sites within Ireland to meet other teams, or management.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle escalations comfortably, in a calm and professional manner
  • Engage additional to Digital teams and resources as and when required
  • Liaise with site engineering teams & external third parties for infrastructure and technology tasks related to Engineering and automation activities
  • Ensure standards are maintained and support is aligned to operational support model
  • Must maintain training and be compliant with local site policy and procedure
  • Desktop and Infrastructure support e.g. switches, servers, patching, etc
  • Analytical & Reporting experience, ability to turn numbers into meaningful information



Essential skills / qualifications:

  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of desktop and infrastructure support methodologies in an ITIL environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills
  • Strong appreciation of technology policy, process, and procedure development and implementation
  • Previous experience managing support teams, or engineering projects
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills as well as excellent multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Windows 10 in a corporate environment
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting MS office applications
  • Scheduling and resource planning
  • Ability to ensure internal company standards for productivity and staff utilisation are met
  • People Management
  • Time Management
  • Very strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Full Driving Licence and have access to own vehicle



Desired skills / qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in pharmaceutical production facilities
  • Experience with medical equipment interfacing
  • Experience working in industrial or lab environments
  • Working with high-ranking users and clients
