Background
The Client has chosen the Oracle Retail Suite ERP solution. This has been customised and configured to Client's Business requirements over the past 3 years.
The company is developing and implementing a new MarketPlace EPoS software, which is being configured and interfaced into the Oracle Retail suite.
The EPoS/Oracle integration programme has been in progress for the past year and has required development and software modifications to accommodate the following:
- Oracle Release 3 integration to MarketPlace. This is complete and running
- Oracle Release 3+, enhancements also requiring integration to MarketPlace. This is complete and running
- Oracle Release 4. This is outstanding and the Go live has been delayed by a further 4 weeks.
PM Requirement
Project Manager required to:
- Coordinate and plan the rollout of Oracle Release 4 to EPOS stores
- Orchestrate overnight activities to achieve successful cutover of EPOS stores to operate under Oracle Release 4
- Coordinate and plan a clear up release to decommission the legacy interfaces after successful completion of the Oracle R4 rollout
- To take on additional activities as required in the wider Implementation team
As can be seen from the headlines above this role will require out of hours work (at standard rates) and the successful candidate will be expected to manage their own time and work within a standard 5-day window.
It is essential that the candidate possess the following attributes:

- Excellent communications skills
The candidate should come from a Software integration/Software development and Implementations background. Experience of Oracle ERP, specifically Oracle Retail is desirable, but not essential. Experience of the Retail environment is also desirable.
The candidate would be a self-starter, reliable and flexible and capable to using their initiative to resolve issues and strong enough to call out major showstoppers if necessary.
The candidate must have a valid visa to work in Ireland.
