A specialist Global Leading Manufacturing Company is looking to take on a Procurement Manager to lead and develop a team of 9 High performing Buyers. Reporting into the supply chain manager, you will be in charge of all procurement activities locally and globally. Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsible for strategic supplier selection and development across our local & global supply base
- · Management and flawless execution of supplier transitions and procurement related projects
- · Develop a high performing procurement team enabling continuous improvements across all KPIs.
- Ensure robust processes are in place for vendor forecasts Manage sub-contract processes and vendor stock initiatives
Must Haves:
- Degree educated in the relevant field or work experience equivalent.
- Excellent understanding of ERP and SAP.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Proven ability to lead high performing teams.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement
- Minimum 5 years procurement experience in international procurement environment
Extras:
- IIPMM Qualified
- Greenbelt, blackbelt or other lean certification an advantage
- Ideally Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing
