A specialist Global Leading Manufacturing Company is looking to take on a Procurement Manager to lead and develop a team of 9 High performing Buyers. Reporting into the supply chain manager, you will be in charge of all procurement activities locally and globally. Main tasks and responsibilities: Responsible for strategic supplier selection and development across our local & global supply base · Management and flawless execution of supplier transitions and procurement related projects · Develop a high performing procurement team enabling continuous improvements across all KPIs. Ensure robust processes are in place for vendor forecasts Manage sub-contract processes and vendor stock initiatives Must Haves: Degree educated in the relevant field or work experience equivalent. Excellent understanding of ERP and SAP. Strong leadership qualities. Proven ability to lead high performing teams. Ability to drive continuous improvement Minimum 5 years procurement experience in international procurement environment Extras: IIPMM Qualified Greenbelt, blackbelt or other lean certification an advantage Ideally Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing The position comes with a high end salary and package.
