Our Client based in Dublin 15 are currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer, who will be responsible for monitoring the quality and efficiency performance for assigned manufacturing line(s). Drive continuous improvement through process development, root cause analysis and systematic problem solving; utilize data from CIQ, TARS and other sources as appropriate.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but is not limited to:
o Continually strive to balance and optimize line throughput, including efforts to minimize changeover downtime, streamline manufacturing system configurations etc.
o Support all aspects of NPI programs.
o Monitor machine management data in order to maximize utilization and minimize machine-generated scrap.
o Assist in establishing clear, measurable and attainable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results.
o Provide input on creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems.
o Create and maintain assembly process and manufacturing system setups..
o Design and / or procure production tooling, including assembly tools, conveyor lines, material handling methods and product-specific fixtures and jigs.
o Coordinate line reconfiguration's and machine move activities, including equipment arrival, positioning and installation, and scheduling of support groups (Machine Support, Facilities, MIS, etc.) using the approved communication process.
o Provide guidance, assistance and / or training to the Manufacturing Engineering Technicians.
o Assist Project Engineer(s) with identifying individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.
o Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the M.E. department and between the various support groups.
o Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by management.
o Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
o Ad hoc duties as requested.

Minimum Requirements:
o Engineering degree preferably with a minimum 3+ years of experience ideally in the electronic manufacturing industry but related industries will be considered; May substitute relevant experience in lieu of educational requirement.
o Previous SAP experience highly desirable.
o Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
o Strong planning & organisational skills and attention to detail.
o Willing to innovate and propose initiatives for new developments and continuous improvements.
o Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.
o Proven ability to meet deadlines.
o Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email management systems, online chat and ability to learn in-house systems quickly
