Role responsibilities

  • Execute projects to deploy, upgrade, migrate and monitor systems
  • Provide high quality support to all employees and customers across several site locations
  • Work with vendors, partners and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement changes
  • Manage the deployment, maintenance and support of users, servers, operating systems, hardware, software and peripherals
  • Coordinate hardware/software installations to ensure work is properly performed in accordance with company policies and deadlines
  • Provide technical guidance to help desk technicians


Minimum qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the IT field and at least 2 years' experience as a System/Network Administrator or similar position
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise level hardware and infrastructure: servers, storage, network appliances, UPSs, printers, etc.
  • Strong networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, PBX/VoIP, firewall, routers and switches. Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks
  • Set up and administration knowledge of Windows Server (all versions): Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, DFS, SCCM, WSUS, Print server, File server, etc.
  • Microsoft Hyper-V administrator experience
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions
  • Microsoft Office 365 administrator experience: Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, etc.
  • Own transport with clean license and willingness to travel between sites as required



Desired qualifications

  • Project based work experience
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure ARM templates and Azure CLI
  • Experience on setup and/or administration of MDM platforms like Intune, Hexnode or Airwatch
  • SQL Server experience an advantage
  • Web application monitoring and support
  • Scripting: PoweShell, Python, Bash, Batch, SQL, etc.
  • Service Now administrator experience
  • Experience providing IT services for a logistics business
  • Exposure to load balancing, clustering and disaster recovery solutions
  • Certifications will be a plus
