IT Support Engineer
- Permanent role
- Onsite - Dublin 15
- Salary range - €35,000 to €40,000
- EU Citizen, Stamp 4, or Stamp 1G visa
- Must have driving licence.
Role:
- Ensure work is done to high standards, on time, and correctly the first time.
- Assist in installing new equipment and maintaining existing equipment and solutions.
- Provide 1st and 2nd-level support, both remotely and on-site.
- Resolve a wide variety of technical issues as part of technical escalations.
- Create and manage support requests.
- Work independently on assigned tasks.
- Monitor client's escalating issues that are unresolvable by yourself proactively.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and using them in a customer-facing environment.
- Assist in/Manage ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 2 years of technical support experience (preferably in MSP or IT Services Provider).
- 2 years of experience with Office365, Azure & Intune.
- 1 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022.
- Familiar with group policy concepts and methods.
- Experience with Hyper-V.
- Experience with Windows 10/11.
- Experience in networking infrastructures (Firewalls, Routers, VLAN, WLAN).
- Certifications in relevant areas would be advantageous.
- Full driver's license is essential.
- Good literacy and IT competency.
