IT Project Manager

The Project Manager is a key role within the EPoS Programme. The role carried with it the responsibility an ownership for one or more of the detailed workstreams. The candidate will be required to apply Project Management rigour and structures to ensure the successful deliverable are produced and fully accepted by the Customer.

Key Accountabilities:

The candidate will take full ownership of the assigned Workstream(s) to ensure that the outputs and deliverables are produced within the bounds of agreed timescales, budget and are of a quality that is fully accepted by the Customer or end user.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the Workstream teams in line with the Programme Plan
  • Orchestrate the activities to meet the timelines
  • Identify and manage of all stakeholders
  • Manage the teams and their tasks to ensure that all the target parameters are within agreed tolerance
  • Tracking Progress of the Workstream with a keen eye on Costs, Time and Quality deviations
  • Communicate with the Customer and the Programme team on a daily basis
  • Interact with the other teams to overcome problems/issues and to minimise Risk
  • Be proficient in Software Development and Infrastructure deployment practices
  • Clear Reporting to the Stakeholders, internal and Customer facing

This is a very demanding role and the candidate will have to be prepared to flex their hours around the activities and the implementation time windows

Qualifications - External


  • 5 Years+ Experience in IT Project Management
  • Third Level Degree or equivalent
  • Recognised current Project Management Certification (PRINCE2, PMP, APMG etc)
  • Good knowledge of Agile Framework Methodologies
  • Good knowledge of IT Service Management Methods

The candidate must have a valid visa to work in Ireland.
