Our client is an American multinational information technology company headquartered in Palo Alto, California, that develops personal computers (PCs), printers, and related supplies, as well as 3D printing services.

The Role:
This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for certain accounts across the client's technology, services, and solutions portfolio. You will be required to proactively drive sales efforts from Inside Sales and customer-facing activities, consistently striving for overachievement against agreed revenue and product mix objectives. You will take ownership of the sales cycle while consistently hunting for further business opportunities. This individual will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in new business sales and have experience developing nil or low-spending accounts into fully transacting customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing account relationships.
  • Prospect for new business leads through various hunting techniques.
  • Engage thoroughly with end-user customers and channels.
  • Accurately forecast and understand existing opportunities while explaining the financials and future direction within the managed territory.
  • Delegate and drive required internal back-office support for quotes/configuration process, delivery, order management, and exceptions.
  • Send offers to end users and channel partners for ordering.
  • Maximize revenue on all accounts.
  • Create new business opportunities and drive them to closure.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue, penetration rates, and weekly KPIs.
  • Build and accurately nurture deals in an accurate sales pipeline and forecast the movement of opportunities to close.
  • Build strong professional working relationships with accounts, resellers, and colleagues.
  • Adhere to internal CRM system guidelines to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.

Skills Required:

  • Up-to-date knowledge of client solutions, the IT industry, and major trends.
  • Excellent knowledge of the client's internal structure and teams, clearly understanding which groups perform which tasks and how teams collaborate to follow up and resolve customer queries/issues.
