Data Centre Infrastructure Support Specialist II
Role:
Part of a best-in-class datacentre support team, responsible for the deployment and technical support of Client and MultiVendor servers and converged systems in a Glogal Datacentre environment. This role covers everything from the physical delivery and deployment of the equipment / installation services, quality assurance testing, maintenance and ongoing technical support services.
Job Description:
· Deployment client and Multivendor Servers, bootstrap testing to a high tolerence,
· Technical support of the customer datacentre environment
· Management of cases through to completion on both Client and Customer call management systems to customer SLA's
· Management of the logistics
· Working with mobile systems engineering team to to ensure total support capability.
· Candidate must be available to travel abroad at short notice for deployment activity to various customer locations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience of technical support, specifically on the HP server and blade platforms, deployment and cabling methodolgies.
· Data center operations experience.
· Professional certification in a relative field.
· A professional degree in a technical discipline.
· Experience of engagement in a process oriented organization.
· Professional approach, ability to manage escalations, communicate proficiently and resolve issues in stressful situations.
· 2 to 3 years of experience in data centre.
- Excellent communication in English, verbally and written.
Candidate must have a valid visa to work in Ireland.
