Infrastructure Solution Architect required to join leading ICT Services & Solutions organisation onsite with well-known clients on a permanent basis in Dublin City Centre.
Responsibilities and Nature of Job:
- Key team member of Professional Services in UK/Ireland delivering end to end infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers that involve carrying out assessment of infrastructure component, problem definition, requirement gathering, planning/designing, implementing solutions along with cost and resource estimation.
- Defining the infrastructure design of new IT systems, including high level and detailed design planning and/or reviews for selected clients.
- Act as a solution owner/technical lead managing a small team at client site from time to time. Liaise between Project/Service Delivery Managers (PM/SDM) and technical teams and ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements as measured by ongoing maintenance, cost, performance, scalability, and compliance with technology
- Participate in Infrastructure bid to draft technical responses and formulate Profit & Loss statements for Account/Bid Managers
Key Performance Indicators
- Demonstrably operates as the overall infrastructure CSA for large, complex solutions.
- Regularly has large, complex designs, incorporating trade-offs from the original specification, accepted by the relevant business approval review, without any requirement for design changes.
- Authors design and test documents for large, complex infrastructures, whose risk and cost elements are accepted by the overall CSA or PM.
- Can evidence regular contributions to customer forums, conferences and professional bodies.
- Tangible recognition from customers and/or Fujitsu sales of being a major influence in the customer choosing Fujitsu.
- Using company prescribed methodologies, can demonstrate a contribution to the definition of customer overall IT architecture, including new solutions of significant size and complexity and which contain solution components from contributing specialists.
- Regular contribution to, and user of, company knowledge repositories and events.
