Our client is a global cyber safety organisation looking to recruit fraud analyst for their team. You will work with the Risk Team in analysing online fraud and ensuring efficient payment handling for customers.

This is initial 6 months contract with high probability of extension, 40hours per week & 4 days' work role with 10hour shift each. Flexibility with working hours is required with occasional weekend work. Competitive salary and hybrid role on offer.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily manual order fraud queue which failed pre-defined decision rule
  • Apply best judgement to further investigate, accept or reject an order
  • Monitor streaming or 'live' orders to identify new fraudulent patterns
  • Summarize, highlight, and open 'fraud inquiry' tickets when fraud pattern is found within the internal ticketing platform
  • Prepare and communicate daily order and fraud activities with auxiliary operations team
  • Analyze 'customized' Business Objects reports related to Marketing promotions and affiliates for fraudulent activity
  • Compile fraud-related chargebacks and refunds, submit verified report to Online Licensing Team
  • Validate, execute, and track non-standard refund requests
  • Handle fraud and refund escalations from internal business units specifically Customer Support
  • Rectify incomplete or failed orders, including missing fulfillment and unmatched payments using internal and external tools
  • Escalate orders and refunds that may be broken as designed to Product Management IT team to be investigated and resolved
  • Prepare and distribute daily Risk KPIs
  • Formalize and document procedures related to fraud review, escalation refund process and chargeback dispute
  • Facilitate training of internal teams on new guidelines and procedures
  • Prepare communication and reports to provide insight and clarity into business KPIs or events that have a significant business impact
  • Continuously updating new technology, ideas, training and understanding the Payment and Risk industry through webinars and newsletters

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of professional work experience;
  • Exposure to eCommerce, Gateways or Payment & Risk a plus not mandatory
  • Must be a self-motivated, detailed-oriented and proactive individual with excellent analytical, organization and effective communication skills
  • Key success Profiles, not limited to, collaboration, problem-solving, decision-making and process-orientation a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products (PowerPoint, excel, Word) etc
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
