What You'll Do:
- Automation Expertise: Utilize your Python scripting skills to automate processes within our trading environment and live production code.
- Database Management: Collaborate with our SQL database for data cleaning, storage, and data pipeline tasks.
- Real-Time Troubleshooting: Respond promptly and efficiently to real-time operational issues.
- On-Call Rotation: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support our production environment.
- Tool Development: Create operational tools and applications to enhance our trading system and support the team.
- Adaptability: Be ready to tackle additional responsibilities as assigned.
Skills You'll Need:
- Python Proficiency: Strong preference for experience with Python.
- SQL Knowledge: Preferred experience with SQL.
- DevOps Background: Prior DevOps experience is a plus.
- Multitasking: Ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining focus and efficiency.
- Priority Management: Skill in managing competing priorities in real-time.
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Linux Expertise: Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
- Flexible Schedule: Availability to work evenings and/or weekends during live sports events.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Reliability: Consistent and predictable availability.
