DATA CENTRE ENGINEER
Our client a leading information technology solutions organisation is looking for a number of Data Centre Engineers to join their team and support their client, a global IT company based in Dublin.
Data Centre Engineer KEY Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform duties constantly and without deviations unless otherwise instructed
- Moving/lifting servers & IT equipment
- Relocating and moving of large enterprise equipment
- Creating/attaching labels and barcodes
- Removing HDD/SSD/Flash/ from servers for destruction
- Basic Networking removal
- Updating progress to supervisors
- Escalating to senior technicians and management as needed/required
Data Centre Engineer KEY Experience/Skills:
- Previous experience of working in a large datacenter environment
- Previous experience migrating and decommissioning of data center assets
- Previous experience racking & stacking IT gear, cable management
