Role description

As the Community Content Specialist you will be responsible for producing content cross-platform to drive the online Community strategy. This will be a hybrid role, creating proactive content that is in line with the overall company goals and also connecting with users to drive long-term meaningful engagement. You will pitch and contribute ideas and topics that are relevant to our customers and highlight trends with the aim to drive success metrics.

Team Description

With a user base of over 500 million, the Customer Experience (CX) team simplifies how our customers interact with Dropbox, creating experiences that both delight our customers and inspire their trust. We focus on understanding the customer journey, and on where we can simplify interactions and improve the Customer Experience within that journey.

The global CX team is responsible for delivering a world-class customer learning experience across our fast-growing customer base. We meet the needs of customers through efficient, delightful, and scaleable solutions that help our users discover, learn, and ultimately maximize the value of Dropbox in their own enlightened way of working. We are looking for a contract community content specialist to join our team in Dublin or Austin.


Responsibilities

~80% of the time - Community content specialist
For this role, the community content specialist will work directly with the Community Engagement Program Manager, who is in charge of the content strategy on the Dropbox forum. They will be in charge of executing the overall Dropbox Content strategy for the Community and bringing to life our brand voice and tone.


*Write proactive content for the new space on the Dropbox Community targeted to drive
engagement around collaboration and new ways of working
*Ensure the day-to-day moderation of the space
*Carry out the Dropbox voice and tone
*Foster a culture of mutual aid among users, drive activity and encourage engagement on the
Community
*Educate users about Dropbox features and how they could help them in their software
ecosystem
*Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to encourage participation and channel
content in the Community

~20% of the time - Marketing emails
For this role, you'll help the campaigns manager creating and editing content branded content for email campaigns that serve as the primary driver of traffic to our educational properties. You'll create dozens of subject line, CTA, and body copy tests and work closely with our analyst to optimize for the best performing version. In this role, you'll need to be comfortable receiving feedback on your writing, and incorporating feedback into your writing process.

Requirements

*Extremely strong written and oral communication skills
*Experience working as a community moderator and/or social media manager
*Experience writing concise, impactful content for marketing campaigns
*Experience making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced work environment
*Comfortable working with a distributed team
*BA/S or equivalent in a related field is required (such as English or Communications)
