Opportunity overview

This is a newly created, significant role within the IT Department reporting directly to the Head of IT. It will assist in the delivery of a company wide digital transformation program and new business market entry.
The Business Analyst role will involve working closely with designated Business Owners, Business Stakeholders and the IT team, to establish and document detailed future requirements and business processes, which will serve as a critical input into the selection of a technical solution to enable the business to deliver on it's digital transformation program as part of its 5 year strategy

*Knowledge of IT systems and processes
*Knowledge of the Utilities sector
The role requires an experienced Business Analyst with a strong consulting background and demonstrated history of working in the utilities industry. Skills in Business Processes, Analysis, Business Process Design & Software documentation are a baseline requirement with experience of requirements gathering for delivering major IT transformation a must.


Role Responsibilities

*Lead requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders
*Capture business requirements in a thorough and methodical manner in line with best practice.
*Delivering high quality documentation on current & future business processes requirements and associated process workflows in line with best practice industry standards.
*Analyse from initial workshops the effort, time and internal resources required to deliver a comprehensive BRS (Business requirements specification) as an input to the vendor selection process to enable Flogas deliver on its digital transformation program.
