A leading, global Supply Chain Management company is looking to expand their team with the appointment of an Account Support Manager based out of their client's prestigious site in Cork. Their client is a prestigious world-renowned technology company and in turn this is a key hire for them.
In this position you will be responsible for coordinating the freight requirements of the client working directly with internal and external stake holders. This role would be a perfect fit for an experienced, client facing Account Manager seeking a new challenge.

Job Description
*Generate sales among client accounts, including upsetting and cross-selling
*Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers
*Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
*Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
*Communicates client needs and demands to employer company
*Forecasts and tracks client account metrics
*Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
*Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients
*Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
*Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients
*Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
*Keep records of client transactions

Account Manager Skills and Qualifications:
*Strong communication skills

*Strong problem-solving skills
*Knowledge of the freight industry
*Proficient in MS office
*Proficient in CRM systems
*Preferred experience in operations
