10th June 2014, Dublin – Earlier this week Experis Ireland and Right Management hosted the second in their series of seminars on female leadership entitled ‘Reframing Gender Diversity within Your Workforce’. The event took place at The Westin Hotel, Dublin. The guest speakers were from multinational organisations, Intel and EMC, where they are all deeply involved in their firm’s diversity initiatives.
Both organisations are on unique journeys and they shared insights on the global diversity strategy, Irish application and their perspectives as participants within their programs. The gender diversity event held in Dublin raised a number of key gender diversity issues and included a thought-provoking seminar with plenty of discussion around responsibilities in the workplace. The event also stimulated discussions about using talent management to help overcome some of the workplace issues around gender diversity.
Niamh Cornally, Client Services Director at Experis Ireland, explained the importance of this series of seminars, “as part of our journey on the Female Leadership Series, we are seeing increased trends in organisations for inclusion and development of gender diversity strategies for nurturing the talent within their business. Mind-sets have to change and aligned at a leadership level to encourage and implement mentor programmes to develop our future leaders, whatever gender they might be.”
