Location: West Mayo (Also would suit Galway, Sligo, Roscommon)
Salary: 55 - 65K DOE
Job Description
Design and implement robust operations solutions to meet the ambitious growth plans of the businesses
Ensure optimal planning, receipt, handling, and dispatch of goods, and developing the company towards best practice
Utilise warehouse space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality control, budgetary targets are met
Use WMS in a manner most beneficial to the whole company, and both design & embed effective cross-functional processes; ensure stock accuracy
Produce and act upon regular reports on key warehouse metrics; set team and individual objectives, and regularly review these
Ensure accurate inventory through effective use of cycle counting and other stock control measures
Plan future capacity requirements, through close liaison with other key teams such as procurement and finance
Recruit, train, motivate and manage the warehouse team in order to ensure they are effective in their role as an integral part of our businesses; act accordingly on any non-conformances
Ensure effective communication with other departments in order to ensure an integrated approach to warehouse management.
Review and maintain relationships with courier services and freight forwarders, developing and maintaining SLAs
Ensure health and safety standards are met, and that the maintenance of equipment and machinery is conducted in a timely manner
Candidate Profile
Warehouse management experience 10 years, including team management
Strong supply chain experience, including design and implementation of improved ways of working
Strong process design and cross functional implementation, some change management experience
Computer literacy, particularly WMS experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics/Navision
Project budget management, experience of managing Capex budget
Health and safety, fire officer, first aid training and certifications (preferably IOSH qualified)
Clean driving license
