Senior Laboratory Automation Business Analyst

The I.M. Department at SK biotek Ireland, Swords Campus is seeking to recruit a Senior Laboratory Automation Business Analyst based in Swords, Dublin.


Reporting to the IM Director, the Senior Laboratory Automation Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring computer systems are deployed and maintained to optimise the inspection and evaluation of materials within the Quality Control and Manufacturing Technology laboratories at Swords Laboratories.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate initiative as well as a capability to self-manage priorities that are aligned and support overall goals of the laboratory automation team.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, administration and project management skills are a pre-requisite for this position.


  • A BSc in Information Technology, Chemistry or a related discipline is required for this role in addition to a minimum of five years' experience in a GMP environment,
  • You will have a minimum of five years' experience in using/supporting LIMS and/or Data Acquisition Systems within Quality
  • You will have excellent communication skills and have demonstrable relationship building expertise with both suppliers and business partners.
  • The ideal candidate will have a goal-oriented approach to project management coupled with the ability to manage simultaneous projects/tasks.
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills are required in addition to strong interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of QA requirements and processes is required.
  • Operational Excellence qualifications are an advantage.
  • Confident management of internal and external stakeholder relationships is also required.
