Our client a niche Data Management & Analytics consultancy from the UK is on a massive recruitment drive for top talent to join their organisation here in Dublin.

They have successfully partnered with leading financial services, life & pensions, public and private sector clients, helping them gain valuable insight into their data and providing analytical reporting to help them achieve their strategic objectives

The role will be on a client facing role on site with large financial organisations here in Ireland.

Ideal candidates will be coming from a consultancy background. (BIG 4 consultancy background)


We are looking for looking for SAS Consultants to join existing teams in Dublin, London, Edinburgh or Chester offices.

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential Skills:

* Minimum 2 years' experience and proficiency in programming SAS V9 (Base, Macro, SQL).
* Experience using the SAS Intelligence Platform (e.g. DI Studio, SAS BI, Stored Procs)
* Ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills.


Desirable Skills:

* SAS V9.3 and higher experience.
* SAS Visual Analytics & SAS Visual Statistics knowledge.
* SAS DI Studio.
* Familiarity with different development methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile).
* Knowledge of Relational Databases and Data Warehousing concepts (e.g. ETL, Star Schema, slowly changing dimensions).
* Experience in requirements gathering and functional design process.
* Experience working across multiple platforms (Unix/Windows/Mainframe)
* Financial Sector experience.

Candidate Qualities:

* Able to work both collaboratively and independently.

* Excellent client facing skills.
* A proactive self-starter.
* Excellent communication and presentational skills.
* An ability to build relationships.
* Effective negotiating and influencing skills.

Other Essential Requirements:

* Willing to work on client sites, potentially for extended periods.
* A graduate degree or equivalent project experience
