Client Overview
Our client is a major financial agency of the United Nations, and an international financial institution funded by 191 member countries, with headquarters in Washington, D.C
Qualifications:
- Has customized over 70% of their HCM PeopleSoft. Qualified candidates must show proven experience with customization of HCM PeopleSoft.
- 10 years of experience. Ideally will have a masters degree, but good experience and a bachelors in EE, CS, Math or Related Field will work.
- In-depth knowledge of writing SQRs, PS Queries and scripts and Knowledge of data stage is a must.
- Expertise in PeopleSoft techno-functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert in the following modules - Core HR, Benefits, North American Payroll, Pension, Tax Processing.
- Excellent knowledge of PeopleSoft application engine, component interface and integration broker.
- Advanced programming skills in SQR and XML Reports. Advanced data analysis skills, using SQL query tools to develop information mappings, conversion requirements and application data models.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills
- Must have superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be willing and able to learn independently as well as in a group setting
Technical Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of information technology and systems engineering concepts.
- Expertise in developing, enhancing and maintaining applications for HR services, knowledge of HR policies (or similar IFIs), including benefits and compensations implementation.
- In-depth technical knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM as well as PeopleTools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Must have initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and conceptual skills.
- Deep knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation methodology, IT service management, IT change management, all phases of SDLC.
- Exposure to Automation and AI implementation in HCM systems and functions
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop solutions for HCM portfolio at FUND
- Provides sustained support for assigned platform system(s) and ensure proper functioning of existing systems, including security updates.
- Work with business users to identify and document requirements related to system enhancements required.
- Identifies software requirements and works with development team to build solutions that satisfy business needs
- Document Functional/Systems requirements, System Design, Test cases & Results, Deployment & Maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with other IT and business teams to ensure proper implementation of the solutions following FUND SDLC standards and processes
- Analyze new or updated Policies and document impact of existing system. Design and Develop system changes to implement these policies.
- Understand requirements, Design, Develop, Test, deploy solutions for the HR Modernization projects
- Provide timely status update of the assigned tasks to the project management team, including risk and issues
- Identify improvements opportunities and automation in HCM Systems and Functions
- Available during business hours for HCM application support (EST hours)
