It's a position in I.T Stock Asset Management and although it's entry level role it opens up possibilities and would be suitable for a person with some experience in warehouse/stock inventory management who may also be interested in breaking into the physical hardware support area of I.T support
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties include but are not limited to…
Provide dedicated support to the end-to-end process of the Asset Management function both locally and for remote users
Complete internal audits for asset accuracy
Maintenance of stock control inventory
Peripheral management - stock take, planning, forecasting
Own 'policing' stock in warehouse to incorporate goods receiving, asset tracking & stock replenishing
Supply stock and peripherals to the onsite I.T lockers
Manual handling
Use of hand-held pallet truck
Own the warranty repair function and process
Own the Surplus process > surplus pickups and processing
Deal with Intel 'End of Life' systems > gather parts & wipe/build hard-drives
Test hardware equipment > laptops, desktops, servers, comms hardware & printers
Liaise with Intel Managers/dept users on assets for re-use
Prepare items for re-sale & donation
Pack & ship assets as required, prepare shipping memos
Own the Hard Drive Process end to end > use of SSD tool, wipe, clone, LDO management
Assist in the drafting and implementation of local site procedures
Liaise with customers on various asset management activities
Follow up on return of assets
Strictly Adhere to all policies and procedures set out by the customer
Provide cover for team as required
