Exciting new Programme Manager requirement required to develop and implement a global PMO to oversee the deployment of automated manufacturing equipment across geographies.

Responsibilities;

  • Developing project requirements and road maps to meet the strategic objectives of an Operational Excellence team focused on driving quality and productivity through the global deployment of Automated Manufacturing equipment.
  • Leading global site based, project managers and coordinating with engineering, lean, operations and other teams to define and meet targets and objectives associated with the rapid, flawless deployment of automation on time and in budget.
  • Incorporate feedback and input from customers, outside partners, stakeholders and in-house teams on strategy, execution and ways to continuously improve the delivery of automation projects across the company's global footprint.
  • Ensure high return on investment (ROI) through creating a learning organisation with closed loop evaluation on all Automation projects deployed, and creating a means to translate ideas into strategy and features, and follow project and programmes from start to finish.
  • Develop and implement management system to predict and track goal attainment.
  • Develop communication and reporting structure to align global organisation to requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies consistent with company/department vision to drive quality and productivity programmes.
  • Work with senior management to report progress to goals, create plans and road maps
  • Ensure projects are launched correctly and on schedule
  • Make creative recommendations to expand automation deployment across the organisation

Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in Engineering or related field
  • Excellent customer contact, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent project management, presentation, database management and computer skills.
  • Operating as a Program/Project Manager in a relevant industrial setting. Ideally has experience working in a capital acquisition type role for a multinational where automated assembly is mature.
