Customer Planner

My client is seeking to recruit a Customer Planner, on a temporary 12 month basis for its Supply Chain group based in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a key link in Supply Chain between Customers and inter-company and third party supply sites. The role will involve liaison with Global/Regional Supply Chain & Quality as well as dealing with customer complaints.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Receipt and entry of Customer orders as per business rules.
  • Placing of MROs on Contractors as per business rules.
  • Interact with production sites to ensure adequate and timely production is taking place to meet customer needs.
  • Resolve discrepancies in quantity and timing of customer orders and forecasts.
  • Maintain master data relating to customers, contracts and BOMs.
  • Obtain forecasts for API from the Contractors and Customers, consolidate, validate demand and supply agreement.
  • Receipt and processing of supplier invoices and following up on prices discrepancies and payment queries.
  • Issue invoices to customers.
  • Issue required shipping documents, certify with local chamber of commerce and liaise with relevant Embassies as required.
  • Liaise with Replenishment Planners relating to customer requirements and orders.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders for outbound shipments.
  • Liaise with Global/Regional Supply Chain & Quality regarding redeployments, allocations, product launches and change control.
  • Liaise with QC for QP inspection and release of Drug Products.
  • Receive and forward customer complaints as per established procedures. Follow up and expedite for prompt resolution.
  • Co-ordinate reworks at supply sites and ensure that costs are back charged to the appropriate party.
  • Perform all SAP transactions in compliant manner.
  • Meet Finance deadline for month and year end sales reporting.
  • Provide supporting documentation for Financial Audits as requested.
  • Comply with all Regulatory/Finance/EHS/Security compliance procedures.

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Software packages.
  • Supply Chain, Materials Planning or related qualification.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Environment is required.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a pro-active attitude.
